This is the first volume of a project I dreamed up to archive and organize patterns from the web. Many sites make a valiant effort to organize pattern links and still you can't help but run into broken links, pop-up ads, sites temporarily shut down due to high traffic, network problems and slow downloads. I wanted a local archive so the files would always load quickly, and the CraftSearch program that my husband wrote makes searching for patterns so quick and nice (the thumbnail previewer is awesome!).

You can download a movie of this program in action by right-clicking here. If your internet connection is fast enough, some browsers will allow you to watch this in streaming mode when you left-click on the link or button. In either event, a screen resolution of 1024x768 is recommended for the clearest viewing, and you will want to watch it in full-screen mode.

The Demo button at the top of the page will allow you to download a program that lets you use the seach program and preview the thumbnail images for the entire collection.
